Rose (she/her) moved to Mount Desert Island in 2012, and graduated from MDI High School and then College of the Atlantic. Currently, a graduate student working with the University of Maine focused on biomedical sciences and engineering, Rose lives in Town Hill on a farm with her partner.
My interest in science does not end in a laboratory setting but connects well with public health and how food systems and access impact community. Food access is a powerful issue that touches all communities and working with Open Table MDI gives me the opportunity to be an active part of the discussion and solution.
