Dianne Clendaniel is a Bar Harbor resident who has worked and volunteered for local non-profits on Mount Desert Island. She first started dining at Open Table MDI when picking up her teenager from a volunteer shift in the first summer of the community meals. Since then she and her family have become regular diners and intermittent volunteers. In addition to her current work in development and communication at The Land & Garden Preserve, Dianne worked for College of the Atlantic in multiple roles and at the Wendell Gilley Museum. She has served in board and volunteer capacities for the MDI High School Music Boosters, MDI YMCA, Mount Desert Island Nursery School, and in the local schools. While much of that work has included planning and prioritizing projects to successfully meet and further the mission of an organization, Dianne will also wash dishes, move boxes, build a sign-up sheet, or do other tangible tasks needed. She has been impressed by the growth of the Open Table MDI program and outreach and is excited to be a member of the Board.
