Cottage St. Ramen

Nestled in the heart of Bar Harbor, Cottage St. Ramen was proud to contribute to Open Table MDI’s mission with every delicious bowl served. As the tantalizing aroma of simmering broths once filled the air, patrons knew they were in for a culinary experience with a purpose.
Established in the summer of 2023, Cottage St. Ramen offered an array of enticing ramen variations, each crafted with care by Chef Isaac Steiner using locally sourced and seasonal ingredients. From spicy miso to rich shoyu to classic shio broths, every bowl was accompanied by perfectly cooked house-made noodles and an assortment of delectable vegetarian toppings. With every spoonful savored, guests not only enjoyed a satisfying meal but also helped spread hope and fight hunger—one bowl of ramen at a time.
Like all of Open Table MDI’s programs, Cottage St. Ramen was a volunteer-powered project, made possible through the generosity and dedication of our community.
Although the ramen shop has now closed, we remain deeply grateful to everyone who cooked, volunteered, and dined with us—helping turn each meal into an act of service and love.
