When not working, you can find Kristin in the kitchen fermenting vegetables from her garden or tackling sewing projects with a cup of tea in hand.

WHAT FOOD & COMMUNITY MEANS TO ME

Growing up in a family very passionate about cooking together and sharing meals opened my eyes at a young age to the connection between food and community. The act of sharing food means much more than just nourishment – it allows people to come together in an inclusive space to utilize food as a vehicle to express creativity, form social connections, and openly communicate. The greater sense of connection and belonging that food has created for me is the reason why I enthusiastically continue to make it such an integral part of my life.

MY FAVORITE COMFORT FOOD

In the colder months, I love creamy risotto topped with roasted veggies!
